Tonight the Boston College men’s hockey team takes on UMass Lowell at BC at 7 pm. The two teams have met once so far this season with the Eagles rolling to a 5-2 victory at Counte Forum on 11/2/10. Lowell is in last place in Hockey East with a 3-14-0 record in conference play and a 3-18-2 record overall. Although in last place, Lowell pulled a stunning upset last night, beating Merrimack 6-4. Handing Merrimack only it’s second home lost of the season. Two major lineup changes for BC tonight, first JR. Barry Almeida is in after missing last nights game at BU with an undisclosed injury. Also Parker Milner will get the start in net for the Eagles, last sunday Milner stopped all 15 shots he faced vs the Maine Black Bears. Over the last 17 games BC is 9-7-1 vs Lowell. The two teams will meet up next Saturday night at Lowell’s Tosangas Arena. Check back later tonight for a recap on the game.
