Eagles take first in Hockey East with win on Senior Night

Boston College beat UNH last night 4-0 in it's final regular season home game this year. BC had goals from Bill Arnold, Brian Gibbons, and two for Cam Atkinson. I was not able to see much of the game due to getting back from a trip, but from what I saw, UNH's first line of Sislo, DeSimone, and Thompson did not look so good. UNH put their big three back together after splitting them up last week.

If BC can manage a tie tonight, then they will be able to capture their third trophy of the year in the Hockey East regular season trophy. As of now, BC would take on UMass if the playoffs were to end last night, but if UMass losses and PC wins, then BC would get PC in the first round of the playoffs. I think PC would be the better matchup for BC, BC had a tough time with UMass last week, and were lucky to win. We will see what happens tonight, as BC seems to be playing their best hockey of the year on the defensive side of the puck after holding UNH to just 12 shots.

BREAKING NEWS- Chris Krieder is most likely out for the rest of the year. He sufferd a puck to the jaw, and was rushed to Tufts medical center last night.
