Taking a look at....The UNH Wildcats

Last year UNH had once again a pretty good season as they made the NCAA's and almost to the Frozen Four. Say what you want about Dick Umile and UNH hockey in the postseason but the bottom line is that they are very consistant. They always seem to be in the Hockey East regular season hunt, always in the hunt for a Lamorilleo Trophy and always in the NCAA's. Last year UNH had arguably the best line in all of the country with Phil Desimone, Paul Thompson and Mike Sislo. Sadly for the Cats, but good for the Eagles and the rest of Hockey East (except BU because we don't want BU to beat anyone)  all of those superstars are out of Durham due to graduation. I believe This year for the Wildcats looks bright but this is a experienced Cats team that could be in the hunt for yet another Hockey East tournament championship and a NCAA bid. UNH's other big lost is a D with the lost of Blake Kessel to the Philadelphia Flyers. The big guns that return to Durham will be Stevie Mosses, John Henrion, and goalie Matt Di Girolamo. I believe UNH will be a threat in the league but will be just outside the "big two" this year.

Key Looses- DeSimone, Sislo, Thompson, Kessel

Key Returnees- Henrion, Mosses, Di Girlonimo

Prediction-Third in Hockey East, miss NCAA's
