Boston College landed a big commitment today from 6'1 forward David Cotton out of Cushing Academy for the fall of 2015. Cotton, a 1997 birthdate is from Parker, Texas and his brother Jason is a Northeastern commit. Other schools to offer Cotton were New Hampshire, Boston University, Providence, and Northeastern. The staff offered a scholarship to Cotton after watching him play vs Tabor Academy on Wednesday evening. Cushing won the game 4-1.
Right now, the plan is to have Cotton arrive in the fall of 2015 with Colin White, Connor Moore, Casey Fitzgerald, JD Dudek, and possibly Noah Hanifin. Certainly another high end class coming to the Heights.
