Boston University embarrasses Boston College 5-0

Alex Chiasson had a goal and and assist for BU.
When you are playing your playing your biggest rival on national TV, you are supposed to be pumped up and try your heart out. Not the case with this BC team. BU got it started with a goal just fifty four seconds into the game and just dominated a BC team that is looking for answers after it's worst lost in a long time to BU. BC came into the game thinking "hey were better then these guys let's just go out fifty percent" o did Jack Parker and the Terriers have something for them. BU dominated every phase of the game whether it was power play, penalty killing, blocking shots, creating chances, goaltending, coaching, you name it BU was better. BC had it's chances, going a whopping 0/8 on the PP including 0/3 in the first. I could nto be more impressed with BU's PK and their ability to get down and block shots and hustle to the puck giving BC forwards no time to make plays. An embarrassing performance from an Eagle team that continues to think that they can go out and give fifty percent effort and beat a good team like BU. Awesome job by Jack Parker and the Terriers coming in and dominating from start to finish.

Why BC lost

1. Goaltending. Parker Milner really struggled out their as it seemed he could not track the shots that BU sent his way.

2. The Power Play. The Power Play is the worst I have ever seen it, neither unit seems to want to get any quality shots to the net. On the other hand, BU's PP was the best I have seen this year.

3. The Penalty Kill. Maybe it was the fact that BU's PP is so good, or maybe our PK was just horrible.

4. No Chances created. BU did an amazing job of getting down and blocking shots agianst a BC team that could not getting anything to the net.

Positives

1. Nothing, all around horrible game.

Next Game- Friday @ Notre Dame
