Sr Defenseman Patch Alber is set to return to the lineup this weekend for the Hockey East playoffs vs Vermont. Alber, who was hurt in a pregame soccer kick-around, has been out since BC's game vs Alabama Huntsville in late December. Boston College has lost just 2 games this season with Alber in the lineup.
Not sure how this will change the defensive lineup but obviously Wey, Macleod, Matheson, Alber, and Doherty will stay back there. It'll be interesting to see whether Jeke continues to play or if he sits and they keep Linell back there. Certainly the staff could move Linell back up to forward and keep Jeke back as the 6th defenseman.
